Great Big Small Awards -Going Green
This means a lot, an awful lot … I can’t even put it into words , but it also highlights how far the cosmetics industry as a whole has to go.
To be nominated because of our ethical practises, our commitment to fighting and making sure people see the child labour issues, and all the other icky practises in the cosmetics industry. Our commitment to our environment and animal rights and providing the best products we can without going against our morals. It’s amazing to be seen, really amazing to be seen … but these practises should be standard throughout the whole industry. Theres a really dark underbelly in this industry and our commitment to fighting that shouldn’t be what sets us apart - collectively as an industry this should be a baseline standard.
