    🖤 Important Update for Our US Customers 🖤

    It absolutely breaks my heart to say this — but from 15th August 2025, I’ll be temporarily suspending shipping to the USA.

    From 29th August, a new tariff system comes into force that affects all goods shipped from the UK to the US via international postal systems like Royal Mail (which I use).
    Until now, orders under $800 were exempt from tariffs. But that “de minimis” exemption has now been closed by the US administration — and it’s causing chaos for small businesses like mine.

    Here’s what I’ve learned so far (though even customs experts are struggling to get clear info):

    • Customers in the US may be charged a flat tariff fee between $80–$200 per parcel, regardless of the item’s value — even if it only cost $10.
    • This applies to parcels sent through standard postal services like Royal Mail.
    • Couriers like UPS or Evri might instead charge a 10% fee, but this isn’t guaranteed either.
    • These tariff charges are on top of any customs/VAT fees.
    • If customers refuse to pay the fee, the parcel is sent back — which puts even more cost and stress on both ends (We may then be charged the fee thats been unpaid).

    They’ve said this flat fee may only last for 6 months, until postal services put new systems in place — but it’s all so uncertain.

    💔 I can’t in good conscience let my US customers unknowingly place orders and get hit with fees I wouldn’t want to pay myself. I also can’t risk constant returns or refund chaos while everything is so unclear.

    So, with genuine sorrow and frustration, I’m pausing US shipping from 15th August until the situation settles.

    If there’s anything you’ve had your eye on, please order before then so I can send it before the tariff kicks in.

    This is devastating. It was a big enough blow when we had to temporarily stop shipping to our EU and NI customers… and now this. It's a huge blow to small businesses trying to survive.

    To all my wonderful US customers — thank you for the years of love and support. I hope this isn’t goodbye, just a pause… and that we can find a way through this together.
