Poisonous Lip Drip – Salvia

Sheer Lilac-Pink • Blue/Purple Shift • Non-Sticky High-Shine Gloss

Salvia is a sheer shifting lip gloss that changes dramatically depending on what you wear underneath.

On bare lips, it gives a soft lilac-pink wash with fine blue-violet shimmer and a glossy, iridescent finish. Layer it over black lipstick and the shift becomes much more intense, transforming into vivid electric blue and deep blue-purple as the light moves across the lips.

The lightweight, non-sticky formula makes Salvia particularly good for layering without adding a heavy or tacky feel. Wear it alone when you want something subtle, or use it as a topper to completely change darker lip colours.

Named after Salvia, a large genus of plants that includes Salvia divinorum. The name references the botanical inspiration behind the Poisonous Lip Drip collection — the gloss does not contain Salvia divinorum.

How to Wear

Wear Salvia alone for a soft lilac-pink shimmer, or layer it over lipstick to alter the colour underneath. Over black, the blue and purple shift becomes dramatically more visible, creating the intense electric-blue finish shown in the images.

This is so beautiful. Its quite opaque so I tend to sheer it out with a clear lipgloss. On its own its non-sticky and comfortable to wear. The green to blue shift is everything!

This is a great lipgloss - very pretty! It sits well on the lips, lasts, it's hydrating, and it feels substantial and not too thin, but it's not sticky. The shade Brugmansia gives a lovely golden sheen that's perfect as a topper or as an office friendly gloss by itself. I love the fact that there is no glitter grit and no perfume or weird cheap smell. It just...does not really have a scent that I can detect, which is great. Packaging - super pretty though it looks and feels a bit on closer look and there are some rough edges. The applicator end is a bit too small and flimsy for my taste. However, the whole thing looks cute, and I like the product inside, so it's fine. Just don't expect Christian Laboutin ;)
