Giving Back: Supporting Clee Wildlife Rescue This Winter

Some things matter more than margins.

Between 18–31 December, we quietly committed to donating 100% of the profits from our sale items to Clee Wildlife Rescue, a local charity doing vital, hands on work to protect and rehabilitate injured wildlife.

Sale items naturally carry much smaller margins, but we felt it was important to make use of stock that was reaching the end of its lifecycle in a way that created genuine impact rather than waste. Thanks to your support, this resulted in a total donation of £231.95 (paid today via Bank transfer direct to the charity).

Every order placed during that period helped make this possible.

Why Clee Wildlife Rescue?

Clee Wildlife Rescue provides care, treatment, and safe rehabilitation for wild animals in need, often working quietly, urgently, and without the visibility larger organisations receive. Their work makes a real difference at a local level, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything they do.

Supporting causes like this is something we take seriously at VE. Ethical choices aren’t always the loudest ones, but they’re the ones we try to make consistently.
