Once upon a spell… there was a palette that started it all.Our original Grimoire Palette , a monotone masterpiece of greys and shadows , became a cult favourite, the heart of many a witch’s collection. But magick evolves.As we’ve grown, learned, and deepened our craft, we felt the call to revisit where it all began. A Little Backstory When international shipping rules shifted, our small (and very human!) indie brand was hit hard. Tariffs, customs changes, and courier complications made sending parcels to the EU and later the USA nearly impossible for a while. For a one-woman business, it was more than just an inconvenience; it was a heartbreak. Watching our overseas coven struggle to restock their favourites, knowing orders couldn’t cross borders, felt like a spell gone wrong. But every witch knows curses are breakable .. The Learning Curve Over the last few months, we’ve worked tirelessly to understand and implement tariff systems, update checkout automation, and test courier options that balance affordability with reliability. It’s been a journey of spreadsheets, shipping codes, and sheer willpower  but today, it’s paid off. ✨ We’re thrilled to say that VE Cosmetics now ships again to the USA. Our ethical, vegan, and cruelty-free makeup is once again available to beauty lovers worldwide (we cannot however ship our Fragrances to the USA and Canada yet). Persephone, daughter of spring and queen of the underworld, crossing the threshold between life and death with every turning season. Her story begins in a sunlit meadow, surrounded by flowers and ends in shadow.According to ancient texts, Hades violently abducted Persephone, seizing her while she gathered blooms and dragging her into the depths of the underworld. What made this betrayal even crueller was that Zeus, her father, had already agreed to give her away. In those early days below, she resisted, refusing food, longing for her mother, her grief mirrored by Demeter’s sorrow on the earth above. Crops withered, the world darkened.
